The DARIAH-HR network and the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula invite you to the 6th International Conference Digital Humanities & Heritage, which will take place from October 7 to 9, 2026, in Pula, Croatia. The main theme of this year’s event is “Cultural Memory vs. Machine Memory”.
The event will focus on a critical reflection of how digital infrastructures and artificial intelligence (AI) are reshaping the preservation, interpretation, and transmission of cultural heritage. The conference will provide a platform for researchers, memory institution professionals, artists, and policymakers to discuss the resilience of memory ecosystems, algorithmic knowledge, and the role of the humanities in an era of technological automation.
The Call for Papers is currently open for individual presentations, posters, and thematic panels. Interested participants can submit their abstracts of up to 500 words via the online form by June 30, 2026.
